Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP),
HCPC, AACP and ACPSM registered,
BSc (Hons) Science in Health, Exercise and Sport,
Dip Sports massage.

Emma specialises in soft tissue injuries, myofascial trigger points, sporting injuries and postural imbalances specifically in runners, triathletes and rugby players. However, those who are not sporty are also very welcome. As an enthusiastic sports person she is keen to promote a healthy lifestyle and can offer advice on nutrition, office workstation set up, lifestyle management and training programs of all levels. She is currently the lead physiotherapist for Old Bristolians RFC and The Bristol Sonics RFL.

In 2004 Emma attained a BSc with Honours in Science in Health, Exercise and Sport from The University of Wales, Institute Cardiff. Whilst at UWIC she qualified as a Sports Massage Therapist and worked with the Welsh and Italian Rugby Union Teams during multiple IRB Six Nations Tournaments. Emma then ran her own sports massage practice in Wales for a year before moving to Bristol to start her second degree in Physiotherapy at the University of West England. Since graduating from UWE in 2008 she worked for the NHS, gaining experience in a broad range of clinical settings such as Outpatients, Rheumatology, Orthopaedics and Intensive Care. Emma attends regular CPD courses to ensure she is up to date with the latest scientific evidence which can then be applied to her treatments.

Outside of work Emma participates in triathlons and trail running. She has also competed to a high level in Dressage and Eventing and Internationally in Pistol Shooting.

 

 

 

TonyTony Gill

Chartered Physiotherapist (MCSP),
HCPC, AACP and BESS registered.

 

 

Tony Gill has been qualified for over 12 years and works as an ESP (Extended Scope Practitioner) for North Somerset Primary Care Trust with the MSK Interface service. He works as their Shoulder Clinical Lead in the NHS assessing complex shoulder pathology as well as treating in the private sector. He is also an Injection therapist using this skill to enhance his physiotherapeutic modalities and is a member of BESS (British Elbow and Shoulder Society).  However, Tony can offer assessment and treatment for a wide variety of problems including ankle, knee, hip, back and neck.

Tony is the Physiotherapy Advisor to the Jitsu Foundation within the UK.

He is heavily involved in training others and has developed “The complete shoulder course, assessment and treatment pulling it all together” which has run with incredible success.
Tony passionately believes in clients having an active role in their rehabilitation which is reflected in his personal and professional approach to assessment and treatment.

Currently Tony is learning how to use ultra-sound as an investigation and is already performing ultrasound guided shoulder injections.
